Q.ANT is redefining computing with light, using its LENA photonic architecture to deliver scalable, energy-efficient processing for next-generation AI and HPC systems.

Q.ANT is a photonic deep-tech scale-up redefining computation through light. By replacing electronic transistors with photons, Q.ANT’s Light Empowered Native Arithmetics (LENA) architecture enables native, analog co-processing that delivers high computational density and dramatically improved energy efficiency for next-generation AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.
The company operates its own Thin-Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) chip pilot line in partnership with the Institute for Microelectronics Stuttgart (IMS CHIPS), ensuring full-stack innovation from hardware design to system integration. Q.ANT is already shipping its Native Processing Servers to selected partners, marking a major step toward scalable, photonic-native computing.
Founded in 2018 by Michael Förtsch, Q.ANT is headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, and continues to lead the way in the commercialization of photonic processing technologies.
